Abstract

O conceito de curva limite de conformação (CLC) introduzido inicialmente por Keeler e Goodwin é um instrumento muito útil para avaliação do comportamento plástico de chapas. Este trabalho realiza a determinação experimental da CLC através do ensaio Nakazima. Primeiro, o comportamento plástico de um aço Livre de Intersticiais (LI) foi avaliado através de ensaios de tração uniaxial. Em seguida, o ensaio Nakazima foi realizado. A CLC foi então estabelecida adotando-se duas metodologias de análise de resultados. A primeira baseada nas deformações limites na estricção em uma região simétrica ao sítio da fratura. A segunda faz a tomada das medidas de deformações limites em pontos vizinhos à fratura. Os resultados das diferentes metodologias foram comparados e ambos apresentaram pontos com altos níveis de deformação para a condição de embutimento profundo.

 

The concept of the Forming Limit Curve (FLC), first introduced by Keeler and Goodwin, is a very useful tool to analyze the plastic behavior of thin sheets. This work presents a methodology of experimental determination of the FLC using the Nakazima test. The plastic material behavior of an Interstitial Free (IF) steel sheet was first evaluated by means of uniaxial tensile tests. Then, the hemispherical punch Nakazima test was performed. The FLC was evaluated from two different methodologies. In the first, the limit strains were obtained in the regions symmetrically opposed to the fracture sites whereas in the second the corresponding strains were measured in the fracture neighborhood. The proposed methodologies were compared and both presented high-strain limiting strains for the deep-drawing region.
