Abstract

Trabalho objetiva apresentar o mecanismo de troca rápida por jato aberto em distribuidores, Mag-QC, desenvolvido pela Magnesita Refratários, desde o levantamento das necessidades do mercado, pesquisa e desenvolvimento até a fabricação, testes e implantações nas aciarias. Mecanismo desenvolvido para realizar o controle de fluxo em distribuidores através do sistema de troca rápida de válvulas com garantia de segurança operacional pelo pressionamento eficiente das válvulas refratárias por sistema de molas helicoidais refrigeradas a ar. Mecanismo já testado em várias aciarias apresentou bom desempenho e segurança durante a operação. Sistema de pressurização por molas helicoidais refrigeradas a ar se mostrou seguro durante operacional. Mecanismo Mag-QC foi muito bem aceito pelo mercado, obtendo ótimo desempenho e resultados expressivos durante o lingotamento, batendo recordes de seqüenciais de distribuidores em várias usinas.

 

Work presents quick change mechanism for tundish, Mag-QC, developed by Magnesita Refractories, since the search of market needs, research and development to manufacturing, testing, and start up on steel plants. Mechanism designed to perform tundish flow control through quick change operating with safety, guaranteed by efficient refractories pressure through helicoidally springs system cooled by air. Mechanism tested in several facilities with good performance and safety during the operation. Pressurization system with helicoidally springs cooled by air proved safe during operation. Mag-QC mechanism was very well accepted by the market, achieving optimal performance and impressive results during the flow control operation, beating sequential records in several steel plants tundish.
