Abstract

O conceito de falha ou quebra zero é considerado uma utopia, no entanto, através da aplicação de políticas de manutenção com metas definidas, gerando plano de ações para cada ocorrência é possível conseguir uma significativa redução das falhas nos mesmos. Diante do quadro de queima de motores na área do Lingotamento Contínuo da CST, realizou-se uma coleta de dados, fez-se a análise das falhas dos motores e um plano de ação para cada problema apontado. Este trabalho foi elaborado com o objetivo de realizar a análise crítica das anomalias ocorridas nos motores do Lingotamento Contínuo durante 2005, propondo soluções e implementando melhorias nas manutenções preventivas e preditivas dos motores, a fim de criar um plano de ação para questionar as causas básicas que geram a queima dos motores. A metodologia empregada teve como base a analise dos motores do Lingotamento Contínuo que geraram mais de uma ocorrência e/ou que provocaram paradas de equipamento e produção.

 

The concept of zero failure in electric motors is considered an utopia, however, through the application of good politics of maintenance with defined goals, generating an action plan for each event occurrence it is possible to obtain a significant reduction of the imperfections in the electric motors. Face to the burning of the electric motors inside the Continuous Casting Plant of CST, a collection of failure situations data was realized and it’s analysis was realized in order to obtain a plan of action for each pointed problem. This work was elaborated on the objective to realize the critical analysis of the anomalies occurred in the electric motors of the Continuous Casting during 2005, proposing solutions and defining/implementing improvements in the preventive maintenances and corrections of the motors in order to create an action plan and questioning the basic causes that generate the burning of the motors. The employed methodology is based in the analyzes of the motors of the Continuous Casting that had generated more than one occurrence and/or that they had caused equipment and production stops.
