Abstract

Amostras de polifurfural (FH) obtidas por catálise ácida foram termobaricamente tratadas em várias temperaturas e sob pressão de 6GPa em um dispositivo de alta pressão do tipo bigorna com concavidade central. Após o tratamento cada amostra foi submetida a análise por microscopia eletrônica de varredura. Os resultados indicam que a FH é um material grafitável e, possivelmente, poderá ser utilizado como matéria-prima para a execução do processo de síntese.

 

Samples polyfurfural (PF) obtained by acid catalysis were treated at various temperatures and under constant pressure of the 6GPa in a high-pressure device. After treatment each sample was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy. The results indicate that the PH is a grafitável material, and possibly could be used as raw material for performing of the Diamond synthesis process.
