Abstract

Com o objetivo de determinar a influência do número de incrementos das amostras de sínter sobre a variabilidade da composição química obtida na produção da Sinterização, foi realizado um estudo variográfico. Foi realizado com duas séries de amostras. A primeira série foi composta por 40 amostras com intervalo de 6 segundos, com o objetivo de obter o chamado erro prático mínimo, resultante dos processos de extração da amostra da correia transportadora e das preparação e análise em laboratório e a segunda série composta por 60 amostras com um intervalo de 4 minutos, que indica o erro de seleção da amostra. Os resultados obtidos mostraram que a minimização do erro de seleção da amostra ocorre para incrementos espaçados em 15 minutos, estando de acordo com a ISO 3082, mas com resultados significativamente melhores do que aqueles praticados atualmente , se praticado intervalos entre incrementos de 1 hora. Decidiu-se então a adequação do amostrador para permitir a coleta de um incremento por hora e, em uma segunda oportunidade, a instalação de uma torre de amostragem com amostradores primário e secundário para coletar incrementos a cada 15 minutos, incluindo a redução do tamanho da amostra.

 

In order to determine the influence of the number of increments of the sinter sample on the variability of the chemical composition obtained in Sinter Plant production, a variographic study was carried out. It was performed with two series of samples. The first series was composed of 40 samples with a 6-second interval, with the objective of obtaining the so-called minimum practical error, resulting from the extraction processes of the sample of the conveyor belt and preparation and analysis in the laboratory and the second series composed of 60 samples with a range of 4 minutes, which points to the sample selection error. The results obtained showed that the minimization of the sample selection error occurs for increments spaced in 15 minutes, being in agreement with ISO 3082, but with significantly better results than those currently practiced for intervals between 1hour increments. It was then decided on the suitability of the sampler to allow hourly increments to be collected and on a second opportunity to install a sampling tower with primary and secondary samplers to collect increments every 15 minutes including sample size reduction.
