Esta pesquisa consistiu de caracterização mineralógica e aplicação de processos de tratamento mineral em rocha nefelina-sienito, para se definir uma rota de beneficiamento técnica e economicamente viável à produção de matéria-prima usada como fundente na indústria cerâmica, para a fabricação de piso cerâmico de alto valor agregado (grês-porcelanato), a qual deverá apresentar teor de Fe2O3

This research consisted of mineralogical characterization and application of mineral treatment processes of a nepheline-sienite rock. The purpose of this work is to define an improvement route technical and economically viable to get a product that can be used as a fluxing agent raw material to the ceramic industry, especially in the manufacture of a high quality coating for ceramic tiles, called grês-porcelanato. This product should have Fe2O3 content
