Abstract

Este trabalho tem por objetivo contribuir para a gestão de projetos de automação e controle na indústria. Busca esclarecer as dificuldades crescentes de gerenciar estes projetos dentro do cliente final, onde, muitas das vezes, as informações necessárias para o sucesso do desenvolvimento e da implantação não são entregues em tempo hábil para a execução do projeto. Utilizando as boas práticas de gerenciamento, aliado aos conhecimentos proporcionados por uma certificação em gerenciamento de projetos, vislumbra-se alternativas para minimizar estes impactos. Um dos grandes desafios das empresas de integração e desenvolvimento de automação e controle é mostrar ao cliente final a necessidade de colocar a atividade de automação como parte importante no grande empreendimento de tal forma a ser planejado e priorizado para que se obtenha sucesso na sua implantação e “start up” da planta. Para que a ferramenta da automação possa ser explorada e utilizada da melhor maneira possível é necessário que as atividades precedentes a automação estejam consolidadas junto ao cliente final e seus fornecedores.

 

This work aims to contribute for the management of automation projects in industry. It also intends to clarify the growing difficulties to manage these types of projects at the customer site, where, most of the times, the necessary information for the development and implementation phases were not delivery in appropriate schedule, impacting directly on the project success. Using the best practices in project management acquired thought the PMI certification process in conjunction with the accumulated experience in the area, it is proposed alternatives to minimize these impacts. One of the key challenges for the automation firms today is to demonstrate to the end customer the need to give the appropriate priority for the automation activity into whole project package. The success of the implementation and star-up phases depends on this planning. In order to achieve the best results and explore in its maximum the automation tolls on the activities performed by other firms that precede the automation works must be planned and consolidated with all the parts involved.
