Abstract

A industria moderna enfrenta no novo milênio enormes desafios e testes de sobrevivência pela competitividade. As práticas do Gerenciamento de Projetos nas grandes indústrias, empreendimentos estes tanto internos como externos, aparecem no cenário atual como uma das melhores alternativas metodológicas na otimização dos esforços na busca da competitividade nas indústrias. Este artigo tem como objetivo investigar a forma como está atualmente organizado o Gerenciamento de Projetos em indústrias de grande porte da grande Curitiba. A fim de alcançar-se este objetivo, foi realizada uma pesquisa exploratória de campo, em diversas indústrias do segmento metal-mecânico da região de Curitiba, estas classificadas pelo critério SEBRAE, como de grande porte, com número de colaboradores maior ou igual a 499. Pelos resultados obtidos, conclui-se que todas as empresas da amostra avaliada utilizam métodos e procedimentos das modernas técnicas e práticas do gerenciamento de projetos, porém ainda com variabilidade entre si, diferenças estas relacionadas a suas culturas próprias, seus produtos e mercados.

 

The modern industry faces in the new millennium enormous challenges and tests of survival for the competitiveness. The practices of the Project Management of Projects in the great industries, enterprises these so much internal as external, appear in the current scenery as one of the best methodological alternative in the optimization of the efforts in the search of the competitiveness in the industries. This article has as objective investigates the form how it is now organized the Project Management in the industries of great Curitiba. In order to be reached this aims at, an exploratory research of field was accomplished, in several industries of the segment metal- mechanic of the area of Curitiba, these classified by the criterion SEBRAE, as of great load, with number of collaborators larger or equal to 499. For the obtained results, it is ended that all the companies of the appraised sample use methods and procedures of the modern techniques and practices of the Project Management, however still with variability to each other, differences these you related to your own cultures, your products and markets.
