Abstract

Aos profissionais do setor mínero-metalúrgico, mostraremos neste trabalho a metodologia e os resultados alcançados a partir da implantação de um Sistema de Gestão de Qualidade na Oficina Elétrica Central da Arcelor Mittal Tubarão, que juntamente com nossa Engenharia, faz toda a Gestão técnica e administrativa de manutenção de máquinas e demais conjuntos elétricos desta família (11.000 mil Equipamentos) oriundos dos processos produtivos. Um negócio estratégico para atendimento à toda demanda de manutenção de Conjuntos Elétricos, a Oficina Elétrica obteve em dez/2002 sua certificação ISO 9001. Através do remapeamento e estruturação dos processos, desenvolvimento dos colaboradores, parcerias fundamentadas em performance, otimização de Custos, plano de troca de motores usados por novos, inspeção do estoque de sobressalentes, tratamento de todas as Anomalias, feedback aos Clientes internos e criação de Indicadores de Desempenho é que atingimos resultados que muito contribuiu para a estabilização e aumento da disponibilidade operacional. Com uma demanda média de 2400 Serviços/ano, otimizamos o tempo médio de atendimento de 42 dias para 20 dias, desenvolvemos parcerias locais com ganho por performance,estabilizamos da Carteira de Serviços em 80 Equipamentos/mês, aumentamos a confiabilidade dos equipamentos, reduzimos o índice de falhas dos motores sobressalentes de 10% para 2,5%, reduzimos o índice de Emergências de 25% para 12%, juntamente com nossa Engenharia reduzimos em 2006 o índice de queimas de motores em 14,54%, dentre outros resultados, refletidos em um índice de 81% de satisfação de todos as áreas produtivas de nossa Empresa.

 

In this study we will present to the professionals in the mining-metallurgical sector the methodology and the results of the implementation of a Quality Management System in the ArcelorMittal Tubarao Central Electrical Workshop, which, together with our Engineering, does all the technical and administrative maintenance of the machines and other electrical sets of this type (11,000 equipment) in the productive processes. It is a strategic business to assist the whole maintenance demand from the Electrical Sets. The Electrical Workshop obtained in Dec/2002 its ISO9001 certification. Through the re-mapping and structuring of the processes, the development of the workers, the performance based partnerships, the optimizations of the costs, the plan to change used motors for new ones, the spare parts inventory control, the treatment of anomalies, the feedback to internal clients and the creation of Performance Indicators we achieved results which contributed very much to the stabilization and the increase of the operational availability. With the average demand of 2400/services/year we optimized the average assistance time from 42 to 20 days, developed local partnerships with gains in performance, stabilized the Services Portfolio in 80 equipment/month, increased equipment reliability, reduced the failure index of the spare parts motors from 10% to 2.5%, reduced emergency index from 25% to 12% and together with the Engineering we reduced in 2006 the index of motor burnout in 14.54% among other results reflected on the 81% satisfaction index of all the productive areas of the Company.
