Abstract

Configura-se atualmente como um forte diferencial de competitividade às modernas indústrias metalúrgicas, a presença de uma área de tratamentos térmicos competente, de plena efetividade, de alta confiabilidade inserida na cadeia de fornecimento, permitindo assim à indústria, bons diferenciais de competitividade. Muitas vezes consideradas como um mal necessário, tais áreas produtivas, de alto potencial de riscos e complexidade, são também responsáveis pelas mais relevantes parcelas de transformação e inserção de resistência mecânica em componentes metálicos manufaturados. Este artigo tem como objetivo, apresentar a utilização dos indicadores de desempenho, alinhados à estratégia de sobrevivência ou até de crescimento das indústrias metalúrgicas. Deseja-se poder ampliar o interesse dos gestores destas áreas, tal como da alta administração, da importância no resultado global da indústria, e de como estes setores, podem vir a influenciar positivamente os resultados, possibilitando ao gestor o desenvolvimento dos processos de melhoria contínua na performance da indústria.

 

It is configured now as a strong advantage of competitiveness to the modern industries of metal works, the presence of an area of heat treatments with competence, of full effectiveness, of high reliability inserted in the supply chain, allowing like this to the industry, good you differentiate of competitiveness. Sometimes considered as a necessary evil, such productive areas, of high potential of risks and complexity, are also responsible for the more important transformation portions and insert of mechanical resistance in manufactured metallic components. This article has as objective, to present the use of the performance indicators, aligned to the survival strategy or to of growth of the industries metal works. It is wanted to enlarge the interest of the managers of these areas, just as of the high administration, of the importance in the global result of the industry, and of as these sectors, they can come to influence the results positively, making possible the manager the development of the processes of continuous improvement in the performance of the industry.
