A adesão de revestimentos de TiN foi estudada no aço ferramenta para trabalho a quente AISI H13. O material foi estudado na condição temperada e revenida para a dureza média de 45 HRC. Adhesion of PVD-TiN coating was studied on hot work tool steel AISI H13 before and after plasma nitriding treatment. Samples were quenched and tempered before the surface treatments for 45 HRC. Plasma nitriding treatments were carried out at 520oC under different nitrogen content on gas mixture; 5%N2 and 20%N2 for times ranging from 0,7 to 11 hours. After plasma nitriding the samples were coated by PVD-TIN with thickness ~ 6
