Abstract
CST has been continuously implementing improvement in its productive processes in order to ensure operational stability and gains in quality. Inside this perspective, raw materials blending has become especially important to guarantee homogeneity of the chemical results obtained in sintering plant as well as in the blast furnaces. The current paper shows the improvement in raw material preparation area in the CST sintering plant which has helped the company overcome challenges of production, quality and environment control.
