Abstract

As grandes manutenções (Major Overhauls), para a turbinas a vapor têm seus prazos e escopos definidos por critérios técnicos tais como a características das máquinas, condições operacionais e especificações dos fabricantes. Estas revisões têm por objetivos prever e mitigar falhas garantindo a disponibilidade operacional e a longevidade das turbinas. A inobservância destes prazos pode ocasionar falhas catastróficas e grandes prejuízos operacionais e financeiros.

 

Major overhauls for steam turbines have their intervals and scope defined by technical criteria such the characteristics of the machines, operating conditions and specifications of the manufacturers. These revisions aims to predict and mitigate failures ensuring operational availability and longevity of the turbines. The nonobservance with these deadlines may result in catastrophic failures and major operational and financial losses.
