Abstract

As rápidas mudanças que estão ocorrendo no mundo dos negócios têm exigido das organizações o uso de alternativas e medidas de desenvolvimento de seus funcionários que gere uma resposta rápida e emergente frente aos desafios impostos no macro e micro ambiente. Como alternativa utilizada, encontra-se o processo de coaching para o desenvolvimento de competências e preenchimento de lacunas para o alcance de metas arrojadas. O presente estudo tem por objetivo apresentar o mapeamento realizado do processo de coaching em 07 industrias de grande porte da região do Vale do Paraíba paulista, realizado através de Entrevista Telefônica, demonstrando a existência de programa formal, o nível de implementação e abrangência do processo de coaching como alternativa para desenvolvimento de competências, sejam técnicas ou comportamentais, de seus funcionários. Recomenda-se que novos estudos aprofundem o tema no Vale no Paraíba, avaliando a contribuição do processo de coaching para organizações e indivíduos.

 

FOR rapid changes that has been occurring in the business world, organizations havedemanded the use of alternatives and development measures for its employees that can provide an emerging and rapid answer in face of the challenges in the macro and micro environment. As alternative used, the process of coaching to skills development and filling of gaps to the reach of aggressive targets. This study aims to present the mapping of the coaching process in 07 large industries in the region of Paraiba Paulista Valley, carried out by phone interviews, that demonstrated the existence of a formal coaching program, the level of implementation and scope of the coaching process as alternative to develop skills, whether technical or behavioral, of their employees. It is recommended that further studies to deepen the theme in the Paraíba Valley, assessing the contribution of the coaching process to organizations and individuals.
