Abstract

En la Central termoeléctrica de Siderar, se implementaron reformas para maximizar el aprovechamiento del gas de los Altos Hornos, obteniendo una disminución del quemado de Gases de Proceso en antorcha (venteo) a través de optimizar el consumo de Gas de Alto Horno, con la consecuente disminución del calentamiento por reducción de Gases Quemados directamente a la atmósfera, y, disminución de la utilización de combustible alternativo (Fuel Oil, Gas Natural) o compra de Energía Eléctrica y por ende de un Recurso Natural que no es Renovable.-

 

In the Thermoelectric Power Plant of Siderar reforms were implemented to maximize the use of blast furnace gas, obtaining a reduction of flaring (venting) of process gases through optimizing the use of blast furnace gas, with consequent decrease of global warming due to the reduction of flare gases directly to the atmosphere and decrease the use of alternative fuels (Fuel Oil, Gas Natural) or purchasing power and hence a Non-renewable Natural Resource
