Abstract

As environmental protection is becoming more and more important and emission control today is a major part for nearly all industrial processes, Paul Wurth contributes to these particular requirements with its Annular Gap Scrubbing technology for Blast Furnaces and BOF Converters. A general introduction and some particular features of this technology are given. Applications and references in the Blast Furnace area as well as in BOF converter plants are shown.
