Abstract

O Processo de Modernização da Aciaria foi iniciado a partir das necessidades dos sistemas e tecnologias atuais no que tange a infraestrutura de hardware e software. Desta forma promovemos uma reengenharia de software e hardware no sistema antigo, de forma a prover um sistema de arquitetura e suporte condizente com as tecnologias utilizadas nos diversos ramos da TI, estreitando assim a barreira que a separa da TA. Com o novo sistema, foi possível melhorar as funcionalidades dos modelos já existentes, proporcionar a rastreabilidade das informações, atingir a exigência performática exigida pelos processos em tempo real, diminuir tempos de parada da planta e reduzir drasticamente o tempo com a inclusão de novas funcionalidades, agregando assim qualidade, produtividade e economia ao processo.

The Steelmaking System's update was motivated by the necessities of changing the obsolete software, hardware and infra-structure used in this system. This way, we garantee the software and hardware reengineering integrating the Automation and IT bringing the system to the actual standards. With this update it was possible to improve the existing models, tracking systems and provide the performance demanded by the actual real-time processes, drastically decrease plant stopping time including new functions, bringing more quality, produtivity and economy to the process.
