Abstract

Este trabalho discute o efeito da indução máxima sobre a relação entre tamanho de grão e energia dissipada por histerese em aço elétrico. A partir de uma chapa de aço elétrico 0,7% Si foram obtidos conjuntos de amostras com diferentes tama- nhos de grão, na faixa entre 10 a 150μm. Os tamanhos de grão foram medidos pelo método dos interceptos. A caracterização magnética foi executada em regime quase estático a 5mHz para diversos valores de indução máxima. Os resultados mostram que a indução máxima afeta o coeficiente linear e a inclinação da reta definida pelo gráfico da energia dissipada por histerese em função do inverso do tamanho de grão.

This paper discusses the effect of maximum induction upon the relation between grain size and hysteresis losses in electrical steels. Starting from a 0,7%Si electrical steel sheet, sets of samples with different grain sizes in the range between 10 to 150μm were obtained. Grain sizes were measured by the method of intercept. Magnetic characterization was performed under quasi-static regime at 5mHz for various values of maximum induction. The results show that the maximal induction affects both the linear coefficient and the slope defined by the graph of energy dissipated by hysteresis as a function of inverse grain size.
