Abstract

Este artigo apresenta a experiência obtida pela Companhia Siderúrgica de Tubarão no processo de instalação de seu sistema de inspeção on-line de tiras a quente. O artigo apresenta inicialmente uma visão geral da forma de funcionamento do sistema descrevendo conceitos gerais relativos aos princípios que regem a operação do sistema. Em especial descreve-se uma forma de compreender o processo de aprendizagem subjacente a operação do sistema. Apresenta-se ainda uma descrição do processo de comissionamento do equipamento indicando suas fases e alguns comentários acerca das dificuldades encontradas e soluções adotadas.

 

This article presents the acquired experience on the installation of the hot strip on- line inspection system in Companhia Siderúrgica de Tubarão. The article presents an overview of the system focusing on the way it works. It is described the main concepts that guide the system operation. It is specially described the learning process used by the system to acquire the knowledge that it uses to operate. It is also being presented the comissioning process of this equipment, describing this process, its phases and some comments regarding the problems we have found and the adopted solutions.
