Abstract

No trabalho são demonstradas instalações de processamento de minério de ferro que operam no exterior com o sistema de mistura intensiva, avalia os sistemas de mistura atualmente empregados no Brasil e compara os resultados obtidos na pelotização e na sinterização. São relatados os procedimentos de condicionamento de subprodutos gerados nas usinas siderúrgicas e nas mineradoras para reaproveitamento na forma de aglomerados, pelotas ou briquetes. A homogeneidade tem influência fundamental nas características químicas metalúrgicas da pelota e na permeabilidade para a queima na sinterização.

 

Here is demonstrated facilities of iron ore processing that operate in the exterior with the intensive mixing system, evaluate the methods usually used in Brazil and compare the results obtained in pelletizing and in sintering. Is related the procedures of conditioning sub products generated in the steelworks and in miners for re-using in the form of agglomerates, pellets or briquettes. The homogeneity has fundamental influence in the chemical metal characteristics of the pellet and in the permeability for sintering.
