Abstract

Pertence ao passado a época em que o serviço de fundição era uma arte baseada na habilidade do moldador e em métodos tradicionais de fusão. O progresso da fundição, conseguido com experiências, pesquisas e controle técnico, melhorou a qualidade dos produtos, de modo a poder competir com peças forjadas ou laminadas.

The time when foundry work was an art based on the skill of the molder and traditional fusion methods belongs to the past. The progress in foundry work, achieved through experiments, research, and technical control, has improved the quality of products, enabling them to compete with forged or rolled parts.
