Abstract

Este trabalho consiste na primeira etapa de um projeto desenvolvido em parceria entre SENAI-ES, SENAI-DN e POLITA. Por meio de uma metodologia experimental, houve o objetivo de estudar a viabilidade técnica da produção de tijolos modulares compostos por misturas binárias de finos de mármore-cimento e ternárias de finos de mármore-cimento-areia. Foram produzidos tijolos em uma prensa manual modelo SAHARA baseando-se na tecnologia utilizada para os tijolos de solo cimento através da substituição do solo por finos de mármore. As peças produzidas foram submetidas a ensaios de resistência à compressão e absorção de água, baseados nas NBR 8491/84 e NBR 8492/84. Os resultados obtidos apontam para uma possibilidade real de aproveitamento dos finos de mármore como material de base na produção destes elementos, restando agora a realização de um estudo mais aprofundado buscando o traço ideal para a produção dos tijolos.

 

This work is the first stage of a project developed in partnership between SENAI-ES, SENAI-DN and POLITA . With an experimental methodology it had the objective to study the viability technique of the production of modular bricks composites for binary mixtures of cement and marble dust and ternary mixtures of cement, marble dust and sand. Bricks in a manual SAHARA press the had been produced, it was based on the technology used for the cement ground bricks with the substitution of the ground for marble dust. The produced bricks had been submitted the tests of compressive strength and water absorption, based in the NBR 8491/84 and NBR 8492/84. The results point with respect to a real possibility of exploitation of the marble dust as material of base in the production of the bricks, now remaining study more searching the ideal trace for the production of the bricks.
