Abstract

Neste trabalho apresenta-se um estudo do impacto nas propriedades mecânicas da resina epoxídica DGEBA (Diglicidil Éter Bisfenol A) pelas diferentes funcionalidades de misturas de aminas alifáticas TEPA (Tetraetilenopentamina), TETA (Trietilenotetramina) e Jeffamina D230 utilizadas como agentes de cura. As resinas termofixas, que são de grande utilidade por suas propriedades mecânicas, resistências térmica e química foram preparadas a partir da mistura da resina DGEBA com as misturas de aminas. Para a caracterização das propriedades mecânicas destas formulações foi realizada microscopia eletrônica de varredura (MEV) e ensaio de flexão com método de três pontos. Através dos resultados foi possível analisar que as diferenças estruturais introduzidas pelas diferentes misturas de aminas originaram valores diferentes nas propriedades mecânicas de cada sistema epoxídico.

 

This paper presents a study of the impact on the mechanical properties of epoxy resin DGEBA (diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A) by the different functionalities of the mixture of aliphatic amines TEPA (tetraethlylenepentamine), TETA (triethylenetetramine) and D230 Jeffamina used as curing agents. Thermosetting resins, which are very useful for their mechanical strength, thermal and chemical properties, were prepared from the mixture of the resin DGEBA with the amines. The characterization of the mechanical properties of the formulations were made by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the bending test method with three points. Through the results it was possible to analyze the structural differences introduced by different mixtures of amines.
