Abstract

This paper describes the pulverized coal injection (PCI) equipment of Baosteel (short for Baoshan Iron and Steel Corporation) and presents experiences in the rapid increase of pulverized-coal rate. The facts are summed up that influence the throughput of the pulverizer and that improve fluidity of PC. The measures are taken to adjust gas flow distribution in the radius of the furnace.
