Abstract

Este trabalho apresenta a solução funcional e operacional adotada na automação dos três conversores da aciaria da CSN e suas interfaces, bem como a estratégia de implantação e comissionamento de cada um desses conversores e seus sistemas afins. A configuração utilizada, com grande integração operacional entre os conversores e diferentes níveis de automação, e a facilidade de operação do sistema permitem uma interface ótima entre homem e máquina, tornando-se grande recurso facilitador da operação, manutenção e engenharia. A estratégia de desenvolvimento e implantação aplicada permitiu tranquilidade nas transferências tecnológicas dos três conversores, facilitando o comissionamento e reduzindo o tempo de parada previsto.

 

This work presents the operational solution used on the automation of the three steel making converters of CSN showing their start-up and commissioning interfaces. The configuration process was selected in order to improve the operational integration among the converters and all others levels of automation. This integration has also a very good HMI (Human Machine Interface) which makes all the operating and maintenance procedures easier. The developing and start-up strategy allowed a fast and safer technical replacement among the old and the new converters reducing the stopping time.
