Abstract

ESTE ARTIGO EXPLORA OS PRIMEIROS PASSOS EM DIREçãO à OPERAçãO AUTôNOMA DE ALTOS-FORNOS. POR MEIO DE UMA COLABORAçãO BEM-SUCEDIDA E SóLIDA, FOI REALIZADA A IMPLANTAçãO E COMISSIONAMENTO DE UM CONJUNTO ESPECíFICO DE MODELOS DE NíVEL-2 COMPROVADOS, CONHECIDOS COMO PAUL WURTH BFXPERT, JUNTAMENTE COM SENSORES INTELIGENTES DE PIRôMETRO MULTI-ONDA FEITOS SOB MEDIDA, COM O OBJETIVO DE OTIMIZAR A ESTABILIDADE QUíMICA E TéRMICA DO ALTO-FORNO. O ARTIGO PROPORCIONA UMA VISãO CONCISA DOS MODELOS BFXPERT SELECIONADOS E DEMONSTRA OS BENEFíCIOS DESSA COLABORAçãO PARA A EQUIPE DE PROCESSO E OPERAçãO DE UM ALTO-FORNO. ALéM DISSO, SãO APRESENTADOS INSIGHTS SOBRE O DESEMPENHO TéCNICO DO PRODUTO COMISSIONADO, QUE RESULTOU EM SIGNIFICATIVA REDUçãO NA TAXA DE COQUE DOS ALTOS-FORNOS DA SIDERúRGICA CUJOS DADOS FORAM COLETADOS E ANALISADOS NESTE ESTUDO.

 

THIS PAPER EXPLORES THE INITIAL STEPS TOWARDS ACHIEVING AUTONOMOUS OPERATION IN BLAST FURNACES. THROUGH A SUCCESSFUL AND STRONG COLLABORATION, A SPECIFIC SET OF PROVEN LEVEL-2 MODELS, KNOWN AS PAUL WURTH BFXPERT, ALONG WITH TAILOR-MADE INTELLIGENT MULTI-WAVE PYROMETER SENSORS, WERE DEPLOYED AND COMMISSIONED TO OPTIMIZE THE CHEMICAL AND THERMAL STABILITY OF THE BLAST FURNACE. THE ARTICLE PROVIDES A CONCISE OVERVIEW OF THE SELECTED BFXPERT MODELS AND DEMONSTRATES HOW THE BLAST FURNACE PROCESS AND OPERATION TEAM BENEFITS FROM SUCH COLLABORATION. FINALLY, THE ARTICLE PROVIDES INSIGHTS INTO THE TECHNICAL PERFORMANCE OF THE COMMISSIONED PRODUCT, WHICH BROUGHT SIGNIFICANT RESULTS IN REDUCING THE COKE RATE OF THE BLAST FURNACES OF THE STEEL PLANT WHOSE DATA WAS COLLECTED AND ANALYZED IN THIS WORK.
