Abstract

O Seminário Minero-Metalúrgico foi criado para divulgar os projetos de graduação da UFOP, integrando ensino, pesquisa e extensão atendendo às Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais. A metodologia envolveu organização por alunos e professores dos cursos de Engenharia de Minas e Engenharia Metalúrgica; além disso, foram coletados dados para avaliar o impacto do evento em todos os participantes. O evento contou com o apoio da Fundação Gorceix, ITV Vale, Nalco, Clariant e Solenis. Os resultados indicaram que, através desta iniciativa, houve uma maior aproximação entre a comunidade académica e a indústria, promovendo o desenvolvimento das competências dos alunos e, portanto, cumprindo o seu objetivo.

The Mineral-Metallurgical Seminar was created to disseminate undergraduate projects at UFOP, integrating teaching, research, and extension in compliance with the National Curricular Guidelines. The methodology involved organization by students and professors from the Mining Engineering and Metallurgical Engineering courses; furthermore, data was collected to evaluate the event's impact on all participants. The event was supported by Fundação Gorceix, ITV Vale, Nalco, Clariant, and Solenis. The results indicated that, through this initiative, there was a closer relationship between the academic community and the industry, promoting the development of student skills and, therefore, fulfilling its objective.
