Abstract

Este trabalho tem o objetivo de apresentar a filosofia do projeto e os resultados da implantação do sistema de monitoração do shutdown do Alto Forno 2. O projeto envolveu a especificação dos sistemas de medição de vazão, pressão, temperatura e nível, amostragem de gás, alteração do software aplicativo existente, elaboração das telas de operação e curvas de tendências, visando o reaproveitamento dos equipamentos existentes e acompanhamento (monitoração) do processo através da sala de controle. A implantação deste projeto objetivou a monitoração contínua das variáveis de controle necessárias para o shutdown seguro do Alto Forno 2, evitando ocorrências operacionais, perdas materiais e acidentes pessoais.

 

The objective is to present the philosophy of the project and the results of the of the blow down (shutdown) management system of the Blast furnace 2. The project wrapped the specification of the systems of measurement of flow, pressure, temperature and level, sampling of gas, modification of the existent software, preparation of the displays and trends, aiming at the reuse of the existent equipments and attendance of the process through the control room. This project aimed at the continuous management of the necessary variables of control for the safe shutdown of the Blast furnace 2, avoiding operational incidents, material losses and personal injuries.
