Abstract

O CONTROLE DE NíVEL DE SILO DE MINéRIO, ALIMENTADO POR RECUPERADORAS DE RODA DE CAçAMBAS, COM OBJETIVO DE REGULARIZAR A VAZãO NO PROCESSO DE EMBARQUE DE MINéRIO DE FERRO, ALéM DE RECENTE, é EXTREMAMENTE DESAFIADOR. UTILIZANDO TéCNICAS DE RASTREAMENTO DE MATERIAL (TRACKING) E MODELAGENS MATEMáTICAS, FOI POSSíVEL CRIAR UMA MALHA DE CONTROLE QUE CONSIDERA OS ATRASOS DE TRANSPORTE E DISTúRBIOS DE PROCESSO, PERMITINDO A CRIAçãO DE UMA ESTRATéGIA DE CONTROLE DINâMICA E ROBUSTA, COM A UTILIZAçãO DE UM úNICO SISTEMA ESPECIALISTA (LYNX RTP), E POSSIBILITANDO A CRIAçãO DE NOVAS ESTRATéGIAS PARA ALIMENTAçãO DOS CARREGADORES DE NAVIO E, POR CONSEQUêNCIA, O AUMENTO DA PRODUTIVIDADE DO PORTO.

 

THE LEVEL CONTROL OF ONE ORE SILO, FEEDED BY BUCKET WHEEL RECLAIMERS, WITH THE AIM OF REGULATING THE FLOW IN THE IRON ORE SHIPPING PROCESS, IN ADDITION TO BEING RECENT, IS EXTREMELY CHALLENGING. USING MATERIAL TRACKING TECHNIQUES AND MATHEMATICAL MODELING, IT WAS POSSIBLE TO CREATE A CONTROL LOOP THAT TAKES INTO ACCOUNT TRANSPORT DELAYS AND PROCESS DISTURBANCES, ALLOWING THE CREATION OF A DYNAMIC AND ROBUST CONTROL STRATEGY, USING A SINGLE EXPERT SYSTEM (LYNX RTP), AND ENABLING THE CREATION OF NEW FEEDING STRATEGIES FOR SHIP LOADERS AND, CONSEQUENTLY, INCREASING THE HARBOR'S PRODUCTIVITY.
