Abstract

Este trabalho discute as estruturas de domínios magnéticos observadas em aços de grão orientado. Foi utilizado o efeito Kerr para visualizar tais estruturas, nas quais foi detectada uma orientação fora do usual para as paredes de domínio. O crescimento se deu perpendicular à direção do campo magnetizante, contrariando a expectativa lógica.

This paper discusses the magnetic structures observed in grain oriented silicon steel. Keer effect was used to visualize such structures, in which unusual orientation of the domain walls was detected. The growth was perpendicular to the direction of the magnetic field, contrary to the expected.
