Abstract

This text which based on the existing conditions of raw material and technological of pellet production of Baotou Steel research on reduced expansion of pellets. The result proves that raise the proportion of bentonite is notable impact on reduce expansion of pellets, meanwhile the basicity of pellets could not change. Because of the difference of proportion of locally produced iron ore in pellet iron materials, the bentonite adding in pellets is different. The proportion of betonite add in pellets could base on the existing production status. Use Light burned dolomite to reduce expansion of pellets have certain effect, but the Pellets of the acid into alkalinity, in application we must change the burden structure of BF. This process not quite fitting blast-furnace process of Baotou Steel.
