Abstract
Aimed to the problem of deterioration of permeability at high sinter bed of 700 mm or more in the sintering, a series of new technology to improve the permeability of the high sinter bed during sintering was studied, two new devices of ventilation plate and device of loosed surface sinter mixture were developed, and the role of significant improving the permeability during sintering which can strengthen the sintering at high sinter bed was verified by sinter pot tests. With any of device used, the sinter yield and quality indicators were improved significantly, which the productivity was improve by 14.5% ~ 23.6%, the tumble index was increased by 1.17~ 1.33%, solid fuel consumption was reduced by 0.5 Kg/t sinter.
