Abstract

Este trabalho apresenta um sistema especialista para otimizar o processo de retomada de minério por recuperadoras sobre trilhos utilizando-se técnicas de inteligência artificial para conceber um Sistema Especialista para efetuar o controle lógico dos movimentos de giro da recuperadora durante o processo operacional. com a finalidade de obter ganhos de produção. Esta técnica de construção de um sistema baseado em conhecimento traz referência humana para resolução de problemas. CommonKADS foi a metodologia adotada para modelagem do sistema especialista. O modelo foi construído considerando o comportamento dos especialistas, tanto no contexto da organização quanto da aplicação do conhecimento. Essa metodologia permite descrever a atividade de resolução do problema de forma genérica, independente do domínio específico da aplicação. O sistema especialista desenvolvido e implementado faz o controle operacional da retomadora durante o processo de retomada de minério com o mínimo de interferência do operador, pois este faz apenas os ajustes dos parâmetros de elevação da lança e penetração na pilha, o controle de velocidade do giro é feito pelo sistema. Com isso foi maximizada a produtividade em 5%. Portanto, o operador depois do sistema implantado é capaz de operar com maior segurança e melhor desempenho do processo operacional produtivo

 

This paper presents an expert system to optimize the iron ore reclaiming process by reclaimers over rails by using artificial intelligence techiniques to conceive an expert system to logically control the sideward movement of the reclaimer during the operational procedure, intending to obtain gains in production. This techinique to build a system based on knowledge brings hum reference to problem resolution. CommonKADS was the methodology adopted to model the system. The model was built considering the behavior of experts, so much in the organization context as in the application of the knowledge. This methodology allows to describe the activity of problem resolution generically no matter the specific domain of the application. The expert system developed and deployed do the operational control of the reclaimer during the iron ore reclaiming process with minimum operator assistance because he only makes the adjustments of the bucketwheel elevation and pile penetration parameters, the spin speed control is done by the system. By doing this the productivity increased by 10%. Therefore, the operator after the system has been deployed is capable of operate with more safety and better performance of the production operational process.
