Abstract

O programa Seis Sigma nasceu em 1987, com o objetivo de capacitar a Motorola para enfrentar seus concorrentes. O Seis Sigma é uma estratégia gerencial disciplinada e altamente quantitativa, que visa aumentar a lucratividade das empresas através da otimização de produtos e processos, com o conseqüente incremento da satisfação de clientes e consumidores. O programa só funciona se implementado com rigor e disciplina: as decisões devem ser baseadas em dados e na metodologia estruturada do DMAIC e é imprescindível um profundo conhecimento da alta administração da organização. Na Aços Villares, este programa começou no ano de 2005, com a formação da primeira turma de Green e Black Belts e, em Outubro 2006 estará finalizando projetos da segunda turma de Green e Black Belts. Este trabalho que será apresentado abaixo, relata a aplicação da metodologia Seis Sigma na Linha de Inspeção III alocada no setor do Acabamento de Barras, em que, a equipe, propôs reduzir em 22% as pequenas paradas / redução de velocidade do equipamento, que gera um aumento de O.E.E. de 12,4% sobre o resultado de 2005.

 

The Six Sigma began in 1987, with the objective of to capacity the Motorola Company against to others company in the world. The Six Sigma is a management desenvolvement, that the program objective is to give better results to company through out the best products and process and consequent satisfaction of clients and costumers. The program just give a good results if makes with dedication: the decisions must be based in information about the problem that project to work and DMAIC methodology with help and consult about the objective the high administration of company. At Villares, Six Sigma began since 2005, with created the first team of Green and Black Belts. In 2006, at Villares finish the second team project of Green and Black Belts. This project that we showed the application of Six Sigma at Villares, the team to arrive objective to reduce in 22% the little stopped to equipment. The results with the improvement are the O.E.E. (Overall Efficiency Equipment) can better 12,4% than result in equipment last year (2005).
