Como o tema central: “Sustentabilidade: A chave para o crescimento responsável e economicamente viável”. A ABM realiza o seu 31º Seminário de Balanços Energéticos e Utilidades e 25º Encontro de Produtores e Consumidores de Gases Industriais.

A eficiência no uso racional dos energéticos disponíveis na indústria, a consciência ambiental de que é imprescindível cuidar bem da Casa onde vivemos (Planeta Terra) e de que tudo isto pode ser feita de forma economicamente viável, nos leva a discutir e repensar as nossas ações diárias em prol da sustentabilidade.

A escolha do local do local para sediar o evento neste ano de 2010, não é sem efeito para com o tema central. A cidade de Foz do Iguaçu abriga em sua área um presente da natureza que são as Cataratas do Iguaçu. Em tupi – guarani, Iguaçu quer dizer “água grande”. Com um conjunto de mais de 275 quedas de água, altura superior a 70 metros distribuídos ao longo de 2,7km do Rio Iguaçu o nome não poderia ser mais apropriado. O evento oferece a oportunidade de troca de experiência técnicas de sucesso e ampliação da nossa rede de relacionamentos, através dos trabalhos apresentados, da mesa redonda, discussões técnicas que surgem e dos eventos culturais para congraçamento de todos.
