ABM Week 6th edition, 2022 – Considered Latin America’s largest technical and scientific event in the fields of metallurgy, materials, and mining, ABM WEEK reaches its sixth edition with the mission of promoting technological exchange and industrial development and improving the competitiveness of these industries’ players.
Helded by ABM (Brazilian Metallurgy, Materials and Mining Association), the event took place from June 7 to 9, 2022, at the Pro Magno Event Center, in São Paulo. The agenda also included courses and workshops on June 6th and technical visits on June 10th.
The great differential of ABM WEEK is to bring together eleven of ABM’s traditional events at the same time. In addition, this year's edition hosted the 4th EMECR - International Conference on Energy and Material Efficiency and CO2 Reduction in the Steel Industry 2022, a recognized forum for high level discussions on environmental related topics such as CO2 reduction, materials efficiency and product life cycles in the steel industry worldwide.
The program included technical and plenary sessions, panels, round tables, awards, homages, cocktails, and other activities. Moreover, sponsoring companies had the opportunity to show their products and services in the exhibition area and make business contacts through the Business Rounds.
