Resumo

O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar a análise realizada em um sistema de fixação de coluna, com um parafuso rompido. Esta análise foi conduzida para identificar os motivos que levaram o mesmo ao colapso, além de caracterização de material dos outros componentes metálicos comparando com as normas vigentes. Para isto, utilizou- se a metodologia padrão para análise de falha. O resultado da investigação mostrou que a falha ocorreu por processo de fadiga e que o material não apresentou inconformidades de acordo com as normas vigentes.

 

The objective of this work is to present an investigation carried out in a system of column fixation, with a broken screw. This investigation was conducted in order to identify the reasons that led the screw to collapse, beyond material caracterization of the others metallic components and comparison with the effective norms. Thus, a standard methodology was used to the failure analysis. The investigation result indicates that fatigue failure occurred induced by fatigue process and that the material no presented adversity in agreement with the effective norms.
