Resumo

O aumento do uso de metais pesados tem resultado num aumento do fluxo de metais tóxicos no meio ambiente. As principais fontes de poluição por metais pesados são: curtume, extração metálica, indústrias de tinturas e acabamento metálico entre outras. A galvanoplastia libera um efluente contendo principalmente cromo, comprometendo assim a qualidade do corpo receptor. Entre os tratamentos de efluentes destaca-se a aplicação de resinas de troca-iônica, que é um processo limpo, que permite a recirculação de água de processo e favorece uma economia de água limpa e conseqüentemente melhorando a qualidade do efluente. Assim o objetivo do presente trabalho é avaliar a influência que os parâmetros, tais como, tipo de matriz da resina e concentração inicial da solução exerce sobre o carregamento das mesmas. A metodologia proposta consiste em realizar experimentos de adsorção em uma mesa agitadora tipo shaker, à temperatura de 25

 

Heavy Metals are toxic, they present ions in the water system that is absorbed for the human body, plants and other beings livings creature. Electroplating liberates wastewater contends chromium in its waters. Between the treatments of effluent it is distinguished ion exchange using resins that are a process clean, allowing to the water recycling in the process and also its discarding in rivers without harming its quality.
