Resumo

Verificar a acuracidade da aplicação do método de elementos finitos no levantamento do dano envolvido no processo de conformação a frio quando confrontado com dados experimentais de campo. O trabalho contará com as etapas de análise experimental e numérica, sendo que a última será desenvolvida pelo método dos elementos finitos (software DEFORM). Serão coletados e verificados os dados de geometria nas diversas etapas do processo, seguido de pesquisa, identificando a região e a etapa em que ocorreu. De posse dos dados experimentais, as medidas da geometria permitirão o ajuste dos modelos numéricos, quanto à malha e coeficiente de atrito. Com isto, são pesquisados os dados obtidos pelo estudo numérico e confrontado com a fase experimental. Como resultado, pretende- se validar o método numérico bem como avaliar a influência dos parâmetros de entrada necessários à simulação computacional.

 

The purpose of this work is verify the acuity of the application of the method of finite elements in the rising of the damage involved in the cold forming process when confronted with experimental data. The work will count with the stages of experimental and numeric analysis, and the last will be developed by the method of the finite elements (software DEFORM). These data will be collected and verified the geometry data in the several stages of the process, followed by research, identifying the area and the stage in that happened. Of ownership of the experimental data, the measures of the geometry will allow the adjustment of the numeric models, with relationship to the mesh and friction coefficient. With this, they are researched the data obtained by the numeric study and confronted with the experimental phase. As result, intends to validate the numeric method as well as to evaluate the influence of the necessary entrance parameters to the computational simulation.
