Resumo

Este trabalho tem como objetivo estudar as influências das taxas de aquecimento e de resfriamento, assim como do teor de elementos de liga, nas transformações de fase que ocorrem nos aços maraging das séries 300 e 350. Foram realizados ensaios dilatométricos com três taxas de aquecimento e resfriamento (1, 10 e 28 oC/s) entre a temperatura ambiente e 900oC, em três corridas diferentes de aços maraging (uma corrida de aço maraging 300 e duas corridas de maraging 350). As transformações de fases estudadas foram: transformação da austenita em martensita, precipitação de compostos intermetálicos e reversão da martensita para austenita. Os resultados obtidos foram comparados com resultados da literatura e evidenciaram influências significativas tanto do teor elementos de liga como das taxas de aquecimento/resfriamento nas temperaturas de início e término das transformações de fase estudadas.

 

This work aims to study the influences of the heating and cooling rates, as well as the content of alloying elements, on the phase transformations that occur in the maraging steel series 300 and 350. Dilatometric essays were performed using three rates of heating and cooling (1, 10 and 28 °C/s) between room temperature and 900oC in three different charges of maraging steels (a charge of maraging steel 300 and two charges of maraging 350). The following phase transformations were studied: the transformation of austenite to martensite, the precipitation of intermetallic compounds and the reversion of martensite to austenite. The obtained results were compared with literature results and showed significant influences of both the content of alloying elements and the heating/cooling rates on the temperatures of initiation and completion of the studied phase transformations.
