Resumo

As leis ambientais cada vez mais restritivas, o advento do desenvolvimento sustentável e a atratividade econômica da reciclagem fazem com que cada vez mais as empresas invistam em projetos de recuperação de materiais. Na siderurgia, a maior demanda de carga metálica vem estimulando o desenvolvimento de uma nova tecnologia de aproveitamento de resíduos. Recentemente na CSN – Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional - foi desenvolvido um processo de produção de pelotas de resíduos com aplicação em alto forno e aciaria. Nesse estudo, foram realizados testes com aplicação de resíduos oleosos, que são resíduos de difícil reciclagem interna na siderurgia. Com o propósito de avaliar os resultados da produção de pelotas, foram caracterizadas as matérias primas e as pelotas produzidas. Os resultados preliminares da produção industrial confirmaram os impactos positivos da utilização de resíduos no processo siderúrgico.

 

The environmental laws more and more restrictive, the coming of the maintainable development and the economic attractiveness of the recicling do with that more and more the companies invest in projects of recovery of materials. In the metallurgy, the largest demand of metallic load comes stimulating the development of a new technology of use of residues. Recently in CSN – Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional - a process of production of pellets of residues was developed with application at blast furnace and steel mill. In that study, tests were accomplished with application of oleaginous residues, that are residues of difficult recicling it interns in the metallurgy. With the purpose of evaluating the results of the production of pellets, the matters cousins and the produced pellets were characterized. The results preliminaries of the industrial production confirmed the positive impacts of the use of residues in the metallurgical process.
