Resumo

O objetivo deste trabalho é avaliar a distribuição de temperatura gerada por eventos de frenagem, com travamento de rodas ferroviárias, em diferentes situações de frenagem. Para tal fim, desenvolveu-se um modelo numérico com auxílio do aplicativo ANSYS, com a finalidade de simular a condução de calor envolvida em eventos de frenagem com travamento e analisar a distribuição de temperatura no componente. Para isso, diferentes situações de frenagem foram avaliadas variando- se parâmetros como tempo de travamento de rodas, carga axial aplicada e velocidade do veículo. Através de uma situação crítica imposta pelo evento de frenagem, apresentou-se um perfil da temperatura em diferentes condições de frenagem. Os resultados se apresentam sob a forma de soluções nodais fornecidas pelo aplicativo e diagramas de distribuição de temperatura através da seção da roda, na região de contato com o trilho. Os resultados permitem seu emprego em futuras análises de falhas e geração dos principais defeitos em rodas ferroviárias.

 

The objective of this work is to evaluate of the distribution of temperature generated for braking events, with of railroad wheels skid, in different situations of braking. For such end, a numerical model with aid of the applicatory ANSYS, the purpose to simulate the involved conduction of heat in events of braking with skid was developed and to analyze the distribution of temperature in the component. For this, different situations of braking are evaluated varying parameters as time of wheels skid, axial load applied and speed of the vehicle. Through a critical situation imposed by the braking event, a profile of the temperature in different conditions of braking was presented. The results if present under the form of nodais solutions supplied by applicatory and the diagrams of distribution of temperature through the section of the wheel, in the region of contact with the rail. The results allow to its job in future analyses of imperfections and generation of the main defects in railroad wheels.
