Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo avaliar se faz sentido fomentar e estruturar a transformação em Advanced Analytics em grandes e tradicionais empresas do setor siderúrgico, ou até mesmo similares do segmento industrial. Para tanto será utilizado o case da ArcelorMittal Brasil FC Latam, que implementou o Centro de Ciência de Dados, denominado CCD. Existe um espaço importante a ser ocupado com um amplo e avançado conjunto de recursos - que o BI tradicional não oferece - que envolve ciência de dados, análise de dados, inteligência artificial (IA) e humana, comprovando alcançar grandes vantagens estratégicas.

 

This work aims to evaluate whether it makes sense to foster and structure the transformation in Advanced Analytics in larges and traditional companies in the steel sector, or even similar in the industrial segment. For this purpose, the case of ArcelorMittal Brasil FC Latam will be used, which implemented the Data Science Center, called CCD. There is an important space to be occupied with a broad and advanced set of features – which traditional BI does not offer – that involves data science, data analysis, artificial intelligence (AI) and human, proving to achieve great strategic advantages.
