The 43rd Ironmaking and Raw Materials Seminar and 14th Brazilian Symposium on Iron Ore of Brazilian Metallurgical, Materials and Mining Association – ABM held in Belo Horizonte (MG) confirms our industry's vocation to organize highly-successful events, networking opportunities and technical quality.
We are very happy with the success of the chosen theme - Energy strategies for the area of ironmaking and mining - vision of the future - and the carefully planned activities which will encompass strategic energy issues and their implications for the industry, at a time of huge transformations in the mining and metallurgical industry and large expectations regarding the country's development. We further stress the area of iron ore agglomeration, which this year has shown added strength with an expressive amount of papers and two courses on the theme, which caused us to create the 1st Brazilian Symposium on Agglomeration of Iron Ore.
With this event, ABM maintains its tradition and commitment to foster the generation and exchange of state-of-the-art technical and scientific knowledge, by bringing together a panel, technical contributions, special lectures and courses which have provided the participants with the opportunity for an update on the latest efforts in the area, operating practices of leading companies in their industries and innovations currently used in the industry or in the academy.
