Resumo

Neste trabalho foram estudadas as influências de temperatura, massa de mistura e agitação do banho metálico na eficiência da desfosforação. Para isto, foram realizados testes com três diferentes misturas, variando esses parâmetros, coletando amostras do metal ao longo do tempo e realizando análises químicas. A eficiência nos experimentos foi limitada pela aglomeração da mistura, devido à baixa granulometria. Assim, as influências esperadas, com base na literatura, da temperatura e da massa de mistura para este caso foram determinadas. O grau de agitação do banho metálico se mostrou um parâmetro notavelmente relevante no processo, bem como a granulometria dos reagentes da mistura.

 

This work aims to analyze the influence of temperature, mixture mass and metal mixing in the efficiency of the dephosphorization. The tests were carried out with three different mixtures, varying these parameters, collecting samples of the metal over a determined time of process and performing chemical analyzes. The efficiency in the experiments was limited by the agglomeration of the mixture, due to the low granulometry. Thus, the expected influences, based on the literature, on the temperature and mass of the mixture for this case were determined. The degree of agitation of the metal bath proved to be a remarkably relevant parameter in the process, as well as the granulometry of the reactants.
